Early Communion Classes – Classes are offered for students in 5th – 7th grade who have a desire to grow in their faith and participate in Holy Communion. Please pray and talk to your child to determine if he/she is ready for this major milestone in his/her faith life. Students who would like to participate in Early Communion at Shepherd of the Hills must attend three evening classes with a parent, godparent, or any other adult that has had a positive influence in your child’s religious training.

 

These classes, taught by Pastor Tom, will take place from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. on March 14th, 21st, & 28th. If you have a child who would like to participate in these classes, click here to register online or sign up at the Information Center.

   ·        Preschool (age 3 by 9/1/11) – K4
·        Kindergarten (age 5 by 9/1/11)
                          ·        1st – 5th Grade (small groups are grade specific)
 ·        6th – 8th Grade Confirmation Class

 

Classes held Sunday mornings September – May as follows:

              ·     Kidz Konnection:  9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.   
  ·    Confirmation:  11:00 a.m. only

Kidz Konnection Schedule

NO CLASSES JANUARY 1ST. Classes resume January 8th, with a new series entitled “Rock Solid."

This eight-week series will help children understand the importance of their relationship with Jesus. They will learn God wants them to take an active role in their choices and behaviors. Weekly lessons:

· January 8th: Listen Up!
· January 15th: Quiet Up!
· January 22nd: Slow Up!
· January 29th: Grow Up!
· February 5th: Pull Up!
· February 12th: Stand Up!
· February 19th: Give Up!
· February 26th: Show Up!

6th Grade Retreat

 

 

Saturday, March 24th to Sunday, March 25th

Camp Lakotah
All youth in 6th grade (and friends) are invited to the 6th Grade Retreat
at Camp Lakotah (the location of Confirmation Camp!)

 

This retreat is a great opportunity to build relationships with other young people and
adults, worship together, play together and grow in your relationship with God.
