Blood Pressure Screeners are needed the 4th Sun/mo. from 8:30-8:45 a.m. This is a service we offer to those attending Shepherd and if you have the skills we would like you to pray about using them at Shepherd. We screen in the office in the Entryway and provide the equipment. Please contact Jan if you are interested.
Kitchen Help for all three services. We and all our guests really enjoy the coffee, lemonade and donuts after each service. Before each service our kitchen volunteers make the coffee and lemonade and cut/plate the donuts. After the service they empty the two small trash cans and replace the liners and clean the area for the next service. We try to assign two volunteers for each service. MONDAY MORNING COUNTER: We have a very dedicated group of people that count the offering each week. We have an opening for someone to count the offering on Monday mornings. It takes approximately 1-1/2 hours and you and a partner would be scheduled once every six weeks. If you are interested, please sign up at the Information Center. Questions, contact Jan.
INFORMATION CENTER VOLUNTEERS: We are in need of help at the Information Center at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. This volunteer position is to help answer basic questions any member or visitor may have about Shepherd. Help hand out the visitor mugs, bibles and if anyone is in need of a CD of the service. BUSY BAGS: We are looking for a few people to restock Busy Bags. (The little cloth bags that keep the kids occupied during service.) This can be done any time during the week, Monday through Friday. MEALS FOR OTHERS: We are in need of people to prepare and deliver meals for families with new babies or those who are ill. If you can help, or have any questions about the program, please contact Heidi Krenz at 542-1415, or you may sign up at the Information Center.
SERVE YOUR LAKE COUNTRY COMMUNITY: Lake Country Cares Cab provides rides to senior citizens and disabled individuals in our area. They are in need of schedulers and drivers. Please call 695-2670 for more information.
