Text Box: The Mission   To provide new and gently used shoes to the children and youth of Africa who desperately need them.   The Need   SFJ needs both shoes and partners to contribute towards the cost of shipping.   Why Shoes?   Because of unsanitary conditions faced by people living in poverty, diseases often spread through open sores on the feet.          A pair of shoes is the simple cure needed to prevent many of these diseases.   Why Ethiopia?   ·        Ethiopia has over 4.2 million orphans. ·        44% of Ethiopia’s population is under the age of 15. ·        One in six children die before their fifth birthday.
